About The Niels and Hansene Rasmussen Family
Please sign in to see more.
Niels and Hansene (Madsen) Rasmussen were the first of this Rasmussen family line to immigrate to the United States of America following their conversion to the LDS Church. They arrived in this country by boat in 1890 with their two small children Hans
Frederick and James Rasmussen and settled in Elsinore, Utah. After they had established
a new life in Utah they had an additional eight children. From these offspring a wonderful, growing family tree was begun.
This website is a collaborative effort that was lovingly begun by family from past generations and is being carefully carried on by the great, great grandchildren of Niels and Hansene Rasmussen. We have created this site to serve as a legacy that can be
shared, added to,and treasured by the family for generations to come. If you have anything you would like to contribute please feel free to contact us at the emails provided and we will add it to our growing body of family knowledge. Photographs, stories, historical information, and memories are treasured as well as added citations and information. In the meantime, please do not forget to sign the family guestbook and
pass this link on so other's from our family can enjoy it as well.
Thank you, Rebecca (Rasmussen) Nystrom & Floyd Edwards
(Descendants of James and Hans Frederick Rasmussen)
